In our on going
saga of endeavoring to have all players in our Monday morning tournaments play
in 4:30 hours or less the following procedures and guidelines may prove
helpful.
Since it is ultimately each foursomes
responsibility to maintain at least the established pace they should constantly
be aware of their relationship with the group ahead and behind them to keep an
even flow of play for all.
During play we may all experience times when we are out of position, maybe
because of a lost ball or two or some other cause of undue delay. If this happens
we should all make an earnest effort to close-up any gap by the finish of our nest hole.
HOW TO DETERMINE
YOUR PROPER POSITION WITH THE GROUP AHEAD
You are out of
position if---
1. Par Three: You
are not on the Tee as the group ahead reaches the
Tee of the next hole
2. Par Four: You
are not on the Tee prior to the group ahead leaving the
Green
3. Par Five: You
have not hit all your tee shots if the group ahead is on
