Pace of Play

In our on going saga of endeavoring to have all players in our Monday morning tournaments play in 4:30 hours or less the following procedures and guidelines may prove helpful.

Since it is ultimately each foursomes responsibility to maintain at least the established pace they should constantly be aware of their relationship with the group ahead and behind them to keep an even flow of play for all.
During play we may all experience times when we are out of position, maybe because of a lost ball or two or some other cause of undue delay. If this happens we should all make an earnest effort to close-up any gap by the finish of our nest hole.

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR PROPER POSITION WITH THE GROUP AHEAD

You are out of position if---

1. Par Three: You are not on the Tee as the group ahead reaches the

Tee of the next hole

2. Par Four: You are not on the Tee prior to the group ahead leaving the

Green

3. Par Five: You have not hit all your tee shots if the group ahead is on

The green
